In
a perfect world, no one would ever have his or her heart broken,
people would talk to you instead of behind your back and just
being alive would make you happy. This is, however, a very
strange world…one where people are searching every day
to find a place and a purpose. It never really occurs to many
that they are just running in circles.
Ever since he can remember, singer/songwriter
Neil Abrams has been churning out tunes of hope,
heartbreak, lost and found love and, hey, how about just some
plain old respect for one another. Throughout his life there
have been no greater outlets for his uncompromising passions
than his music.
Puzzle reflects Neil’s
passions together with lead guitarist Scott Krempler,
bassist Bill Taylor and drummer Mark
Hochberg. The quartet, influenced by such groups
as Counting Crows, Dada, Sister Hazel and Barenaked Ladies
fuse these “everyman” emotions into a top down,
sunroof open, cruisin’ style that says, “Oh yeah,
that’s me, I get it and I want more of it!” Puzzle
has spent the majority of its time making sure that its music
doesn’t just drive but speaks, directly to you, no waxing
poetic, no, “What did he say and what the hell does
that mean anyway?” Witty lyrics and inspired musicianship
round out this group’s style. Those who were fortunate
enough to catch one of Puzzle’s live shows were captivated
by its energetic, engaging and highly entertaining performance.
Puzzle’s new focus…
to embrace the public that has been so gracious in the past.
